Senior Girls Basketball Awards: Post Finalists

Wisconsin Sports Network is proud to showcase the WSN High School Basketball Awards.

The pre-season watch list was trimmed down to 15 semi-finalists, and five finalists for the award have now been selected. Winners are announced the week of the state tournament. Finalists are eligible for just one of the five awards. There will be a total of 25 finalists for the five awards, five different players for each award.

Senior Girls Basketball Awards -- Post Finalists

Megan Gustafson, South Shore -- Gustafson is a dominant scoring post player that is all over the state's record book. The 6-foot-3 forward owns the state record for points in a career (3,118), points in a single season (1,016), and points in a game (64). For the season, Megan is averaging 40.6 points, 19 rebounds, and 6.4 blocks per game. She is committed to Iowa. South Shore plays Northwood in a Division 5 Sectional Semifinal tonight. 

Taylor Hodell, D.C. Everest -- Hodell is a strong inside presence for the undefeated Evergreens, averaging 18.2 points, 9 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks per contest. Taylor is committed to Northern Michigan. D.C. Everest plays Marshfield in a Division 1 Sectional Semifinal tonight. 

Jessica Kelliher, Waukesha North -- Kelliher is a dominant scorer from the post and finished second in the state in scoring with 31.8 points per game. The Lewis University recruit scored over 40 points three times this season, including scoring a career-high 46 points in a win over Wilmot. Jessica is one of five players from the class of 2015 to reach 2,000 career points. 

Emma Roenneburg, Adams-Friendship -- Roenneburg can score the ball in a variety of ways, while also be a key player on top of their 1-3-1 defense. The Milwaukee recruit is averaging 19.5 points and notched a season-high 32 points in their victory against Sauk Prairie. Adams-Friendship plays Dodgeville in a Division 3 Sectional Semifinal tonight. 

Madison Wolf, Sheboygan North -- Wolf is a strong inside force that affects the game in a number of ways. She averaged 17 points and 9 rebounds per game for the Golden Raiders who won the FRCC title. Madison, daughter of Jeff Wolf, is committed to Green Bay.
