Below are the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees for the week of March 30-April 5. Voting is open until Thursday at 4pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word. Users may vote once per day.

PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees: March 30-April 5

Zach Lorbeck, Bay Port boys track & field, took home Boys Athlete of the Meet honors at the WTFA Indoor State Track & Field Meet at UW-Whitewater on Saturday. He won the high jump, long jump, and placed second in the 55-meter dash.

Jared Nickels, Watertown baseball, helped the Goslings knock off preseason D1 #5 Janesville Parker 2-1 on Saturday, going 6 1/3 innings while giving up 6 hits, 1 walk, and 1 earned run. He struck out 7 in the game.

Jade Nolan, Milwaukee Madison girls track & field, was named Girls Athlete of the Meet at the WTFA Indoor State Track & Field Meet on Saturday at UW-Whitewater. She finished second in both the long jump and triple jump.

Kylee Schams, Holmen softball, slugged a pair of home runs in the Vikings' first game of the year, an 11-1 non-conference victory over defending Division 3 state champion Arcadia on Thursday. She hit a solo shot in the 3rd and a grand slam in the 6th.

Blake Thiele, Lakeside Lutheran boys track & field, claimed three victories at the Watertown Indoor Invitational on Saturday. He won the 55-meter hurdles in a time of 8.64 seconds, the 200-meter dash in a time of 27.87 seconds, and ran a leg of the winning 640-meter relay.
