Cole Fitzgerald of West De Pere boys' track & field has been selected as the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week for the week of April 6 through 12 after a statewide vote on WisSports.net. 

There were 1,935 votes this week with Fitzgerald receiving 729 votes. Chantal Bougie of Oshkosh West softball finished second with 549 votes. 

Fitzgerald won the 800 meter run (2:05.30) and the 1600 meter run (4:45.99) at the Seymour Invite last Friday.
