Below are the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees for the week of April 27 through May 3. Voting is open until Thursday at 4pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word. Users may vote once per day.

PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees: April 27-May 3

Josh Farnsworth, Alma Center Lincoln boys' track & field, finished first in the 100 meter dash (11.72); while also running a leg of winning 4x100 meter relay (46.85) and 4x200 meter relay (1:37.84) at the Dairyland Eastern Invite on Thursday. 

Mikaela Grant, Jefferson girls' track & field, won the 300-meter low hurdles (44.69), long jump (17-4 1/4), and finished second in the 100 hurdles (15.05) at the Badger Invite in Lake Geneva on Friday. Not only did Grant break her own school-record in the 300-meter, but is also the top mark in the state this season. 

Kayla Konwent, Westosha Central girls' softball, hit 5 home runs at the Poynette Fastpitch Jamboree. She went 1-for-1 with a home run, 3 runs scored in their 10-0 win over Rice Lake on Friday. Konwent went 3-for-3 with 3 home runs, 6 RBI, and 4 runs scored in their 14-0 win against Waukesha North. In their final contest of the jamboree, she went 1-for-3 with a home run in their 2-1 win against Eau Claire North.  

Raymund Pierce, Messmer baseball, went 4-for-4 with three doubles and 5 RBI to help the Bishops' end a 23-game losing streak, defeating Wayland Academy 9-8 last Monday. Pierce also pitched the first 5 innings and totaled 8 strikeouts. 

Dani Sowinski, Oconomowoc girls' soccer, scored 4 goals in their 6-0 win over Waukesha North on Thursday, while also scoring a goal in the Raccoons 2-2 tie against West Bend West on Tuesday.
