Below are the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees for the week of May 4 through May 10. Voting is open until Thursday at 4pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word. Users may vote once per day.

PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees: May 4-10

Alex Cording, Marinette girls' soccer, tied a state record when she scored 8 goals in the Marines' 10-0 win over Luxemburg-Casco on Tuesday. In a 4-3 loss to Menasha on Thursday, Cording finished with 2 goals and an assist. 

Ryan Hoerter, Kenosha Indian Trail baseball, pitched a complete game to lead the Hawks to a 2-1 win over top-ranked Arrowhead on Wednesday. Hoerter compiled 5 strikeouts and walked just one Warhawk hitter. 

Alexandra Hutchison, Columbus Catholic girls' track & field, finished first in the 100 meter dash (11.92) and 200 meter dash (24.79), while also running a leg of the winning 4x100 meter relay (53.89) at the 44th Stratford Invitational on Thursday. Hutchison's 100 meter dash time is a school-record and best mark across the state this season.  

Abbey Long, Eau Claire North softball, in a doubleheader sweep of River Falls, she finished with 24 strikeouts and went 7-for-8 with a home run at the plate on Thursday. Long struck out 15 in their 7-0 win in the first game and 9 strikeout in their 11-2 win in the second game.

Nick Winter, Milwaukee Lutheran baseball, drove in the game-winning run the Red Knights' 13-12 comeback win over Lake Country Lutheran, ending the Lightning's 42-game winning streak. Winter finished 3-for-5 with 3 RBI.
