Oakfield's McKaela Ryan has been selected as the top senior pitcher as part of the WSN Senior Softball Awards.
Ryan has a 20-3 record with 167 strikeouts while posting a 1.56 ERA in 135 innings pitched of the Oaks this season, leading them to the Division 4 State Tournament.
She is also an outstanding hitter, carrying a .545 batting average with 46 RBI and 48 runs scored for the Oaks.
Last season, Ryan earned WFSCA Honorable Mention All-State after guiding the Oaks' to the Division 4 State Title. She is also a three-time First Team All-Trailways North selection.
Oakfield, 25-3 overall and ranked No. 2 in the WFSCA Coaches Poll, will face Juda/Albany in a Division 4 State Semifinal on Friday morning at 9 am.
Finalists for the award were Ryan, Jordan Blochwitz of Poynette, Rochelle Koshalek of Mosinee, Sara Simonar of Luxemburg-Casco, and Bailey Smaney of Bay Port.
Arcadia's Taylor Haines won the award last season.
