Below are the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees for the week of June 8 through 14. Voting is open until Thursday at 4pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word. Users may vote once per day.

PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees: June 8-14

Makena Fanning, Oregon girls' soccer, helped the Panthers reached the state tournament for the first time in program history. She scored 1 goal and added 2 assists in the Panthers' 7-0 win over Waterford in a Division 2 sectional final to advance to the state tournament. In their 3-2 win over DeForest in a sectional semifinal, Fanning found the net once. 

Alyssa Hrncar, Westosha Central softball, finished with 11 strikeouts in the Falcons' 3-0 win over Watertown to capture the Division 1 State Championship. In a state semifinal, Hrncar struck out 8 in their 10-0 5-inning win against Bay Port. Alyssa also totaled 12 strikeouts in the Falcons' 4-1 win over Chippewa Falls in a state semifinal that lasted 9-innings. 

Jordyn Kleman, La Crosse Logan softball, led the Rangers to the Division 2 State Championship by finishing with 11 strikeouts and allowing just 3 hits in their 3-0 win over Waupun in the title game. She also hit a solo home run and walked twice at the dish. In the Rangers 3-1 win over New London in a state semifinal, Kleman tallied 13 strikeouts and allowed 3 hits, while also going 2-for-4 at the plate with all 3 RBI. 

Alec Marsh, Milwaukee Reagan baseball, finished with 10 strikeouts and allowed just 5 hits in their victory over top-ranked Arrowhead 5-0 to advance to the Division 1 State Tournament. 

Kayla Schwebke, Laconia softball, led the Spartans to their first state championship in program history. She tallied 12 strikeouts in their 2-1 win over Poynette in the title game, while finishing with 16 strikeouts in a 7-4 win over Bloomer in semifinals.
