Kimberly's Brice Swick has been selected as the top senior Pitcher as part of the WSN Senior Baseball Awards.

A Second Team All-Conference utility player in the FVA last year, Swick took his game to a new level this season, grabbing unanimous First Team All-Conference recognition.

Swick picked up a shutout victory in the Division 1 state quarterfinals, allowing just 5 hits as the Papermakers topped Kenosha Indian Trail 3-0. It is his 4th shutout of the year and moves his record to 9-1. His ERA lowered to 0.50 on the season.

He's also an elite hitter, entering the state tournament with a .344 batting average, 26 RBI, 31 runs scored, 5 homers, and several walk-off hits.

Finalists for the award were Swick, Jack Bredeson of Arrowhead, Jacob Buboltz of West De Pere, Connor Hock of Bay Port, and Riley Pelischek of Denmark.

Past winners of the award include Sun Prairie's Nate Hoffmann (2012), Kenosha Bradford's Kevin Tibor (2013), Stevens Point's Cal Giese (2014).
