Lancaster's John Hoch has been selected as the 2015 National High School Football Coach of the Year by the National High School Athletic Coaches Association (NHSACA) at the organization's annual banquet on June 20th in Rochester, Minnesota.

The Coach of the Year is selected from a group of 8 finalists in each sport, based on cumulative years of success in his or her particular sport.

Hoch is just the second football coach from Wisconsin to receive the award in the 50 year history of the NHSACA. Jerry Sinz of Edgar was also honored as the coach of the Year in 2010.

The Flying Arrows captured the Division 5 state title in 2014 in their fourth consecutive state finals appearance. Overall, Hoch's record at Lancaster is 283-96, with seven state titles and four runner-up finishes. He is a past president of the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association and currently serves as the liaston to the WIAA. Hoch was inducted into the WFCA Hall of Fame in 2010.
