More than 150 players from across the state of Wisconsin traveled to Wisconsin Dells on Saturday to take part in the annual Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association Prep Showcase at the Just A Game Fieldhouse.

Following are the award winners for the event, which attracted college coaches from throughout the state as well as some coaches from outside Wisconsin:

Most Valuable Player

Sean Miller, 6-3, Sr., G/F, Kettle Moraine

Physical, aggressive and productive player who can score off of offensive rebounds, from the foul line and off of mid-range jump shots. Difficult to contain because of his physicality, jumping ability and desire to do anything required to help his team win. A returning first-team all-league performer in the Classic Eight Conference for coach Brad Bestor and the Lasers.

All-Showcase Team

Adam Anhold, 6-7, Jr., F, Janesville Craig

A matchup nightmare because of his size and skill. Can take taller defenders out to the perimeter and knock down three-point shots or post-up smaller opponents in the lane and finish around the basket. A key player for a Craig squad expected to rank among the top teams in the deep and very good Big Eight Conference.

Elijah Moore, 5-11, Sr., PG, Whitefish Bay
Quick backcourt performer who can push the ball up the floor, guard on the perimeter and score off the dribble. A second-team all-North Shore Conference performer as a junior when he averaged 13.4 points and 2.5 rebounds per game for a Whitefish Bay squad that went 16-9.

Walter Taylor

Walter Taylor, 6-5, Jr., F, University School
Active, bouncy interior player who sweeps the glass and scores in bunches. A second-team selection in the Midwest Classic Conference as a sophomore when he averaged 11.7 points and 6.7 rebounds per game for coach Sylvester Cutler.

Harrison Cleary, 6-1, Sr., G, Oak Creek
An aggressive combination guard with good speed off the dribble and the willingness to get into the lane and create for himself and his teammates. A three-year varsity performer for coach Mike Jossie at Oak Creek entering his senior season. Receiving recruiting interest from a number of NCAA Division II schools in the Midwest.

Sam Kerr, 6-1, Sr., PG, Sun Prairie
Emerging player with size, skill and smarts, Kerr ran the show very well for an Electric Blue squad that finished second among the 18 teams at the Showcase. He can score, but he can also defend and distribute. One of the top backcourt performers in the Big Eight Conference.

Alec Fruin

Alec Fruin, 6-4, Jr., G/F, Beloit Turner
One of the most impressive players at the Showcase, Fruin did a bit of everything for his Vegas Gold squad. He played multiple positions, scored in a variety of ways, rebounded, defended and passed the ball while displaying solid basketball instincts. A complete player with a bright future for coach Ken Watkins at Beloit Turner.

Jai'Vonne Green, 6-4, Sr., WG, Wauwatosa East
A smooth, athletic player with very good size and the ability to finish with either hand around the basket. Loves to attack the basket, especially in transition. Primed for a breakout senior season for coach Tim Arndorfer and the Red Raiders, and definitely a potential scholarship player.

Brad Czarnecki, 6-4, Sr., F, Germantown
Although Czarnecki did not see a ton of playing time for a Germantown program that finished 27-1 and lost to Stevens Point in last year's WIAA Division 1 title game, he figures to be a huge asset for coach Mark Adams and the Warhawks in 2015-16. His selection as the Green team MVP is a testament to how deep and strong the Germantown program has been over the last five years.

Conner Lemmens

Connor Lemmens, 6-4, Sr., WG, Green Bay Preble
Always known as a very good long-range shooter, Lemmens once again shot the ball well, but he also displayed very good basketball instincts. He made the right reads with his passing ability and did not force the issue with his shot. A very good player with size and length, and the ability to make deep jump shots coming off screens.

San'Trell Payton, 5-9, Jr., PG, Janesville Craig
Quick-on-quick point guard with good decision-making skills. Enters junior season as a two-year varsity letter winner for coach Mike Miller at Janesville Craig. Can get the ball up the floor and run the fast-break or settle into a half-court setting and get the ball into the paint off the bounce.

Jeremiah Words, 6-2, Sr., G, Milwaukee Riverside
Solid all-around player who makes his teammates around him better with his basketball I.Q. Teams with Bobby Hambright, George Dixon and Terrance Lewis to form a rock-solid core for coach Tyrone (Rock) Lewis at Milwaukee Riverside.

Connor Curtis

Connor Curtis, 6-6, Sr., F, Green Bay Preble
Athletic forward who gives excellent effort and can score in the lane and from mid range. Teams with Lemmens to give Preble coach Jim Wall a solid inside-outside combination for the 2015-16 campaign. A solid rebounder on both ends of the court in addition to his ability to score in the lane.

Joe Lang, 6-2, Soph., G/F, New Berlin Eisenhower
Solid young player for an Eisenhower program that figures to challenge for the title in the Western Division of the Woodland Conference this winter under veteran coach David Scheidegger.

Colton Homan, 6-7, Sr., F, Waupun
Perhaps the biggest surprise of the entire Showcase. Had shown strong improvement throughout the summer while playing for Waupun, but he appears to have taken another huge stride forward over the last couple of months. Attacked the basket off the dribble, finished above the rim, rebounded and scored in the lane, and ran the floor. One of the state's most improved and most intriguing players in the class of 2016.

Deryk Ruple

Deryk Ruple, 6-0, Sr., G, Kenosha Indian Trail
A combination guard with good shooting range, Ruple is effective playing point guard or wing guard. He can attack the basket off the wing or pull-up for mid-range jump shots. Teams with senior Josh Washburn to give Indian Trail one of the top backcourts in the Southeast Conference.

Cade Rose, 6-4, Jr., G/F, Phillips
Active, athletic player who always seems to be around the basketball. Earned first-team all-league honors in the Northern Division of the Marawood Conference as a sophomore while helping Phillips to a 20-5 record. Averaged 17.2 points and 6.5 rebounds per outing as a sophomore for coach Trevor Raskie.

Marcus Lee, 6-2, Jr., G/F, Franklin
Consistent, hard-working player who performed well for the Royal Blue squad in Wisconsin Dells. Averaged 5.2 points and 2.5 rebounds per game as a sophomore at Franklin, and is a key piece for the rebuilding job being undertaken by first-year coach Tyler Podoll this winter.

Brandon Hau

Brandon Hau, 6-7, Jr., F, Mukwonago
Any doubts about Hau being a scholarship player were immediately tossed out the window with his strong performance for the Maroon squad at the WBCA Showcase. His athleticism, length, basketball instincts and potential for furture growth were on full display as he performed very well throughout the day.
