Jesse Vlasnik of Unity has been selected as the Week 6 Air National Guard Player of the Week following a statewide vote on WisSports.net. Vlasnik was a big-play machine in a win over Cameron. He was chosen from a strong group of nominees in Week 6. A total of 3083 votes were cast, as Vlasnik's 1323 were enough to edge second place Matthew McNabb of West De Pere, who tallied 685.

The Eagles became playoff-eligible thanks to a 47-20 victory over Cameron last Friday, thanks in large part to Vlasnik's exploits all over the field. On just 11 carries, he racked up 320 yards, averaging 29 yards per attempt. He scored 4 touchdowns on the ground, adding a 46-yard touchdown reception as well. He had 9 tackles and 2 interceptions on defense as well.

Remember folks, the only way your favorite player can be named Air National Guard Player of the Week is to vote and share the word. Look for the Week 7 nominees to be posted Monday afternoon.
