The Omro Foxes have been selected as the Week 6 WisSports.net Team of the Week following a statewide vote on WSN. The team ended a five-year Flyway Conference winning streak by Saint Mary's Springs. The Foxes were chosen from a strong group of nominees in Week 6. A total of 9,128 votes were cast, as Omro's 3730 votes votes narrowly edged Luxemburg-Casco's 3,696.

Defending Division 6 state champion Saint Mary's Springs had not lost a Flyway Conference game since the 2010 season, but the team that got them back then got them again in 2015. Omro iced the game thanks to a trio of Matt Hess touchdown runs in the fourth quarter to top Springs 37-20. The Foxes had come close to knocking off the Ledgers last year before Springs rallied for a 7-6 win. The victory puts Omro in the driver's seat for the Flyway title.
