Week 7 Rushing Leaders

With just six teams in the league, every South Central Conference game gets magnified, as there is no room for slip-ups if you want to make the postseason. Nekoosa and Adams-Friendship entered with identical 1-1 league records Friday night, and the loser faced the scenario of having to win the final two games just to get into the playoffs. Tarek Tuttle of Nekoosa did everything he could to put his team in the best position possible, rushing for 329 yards and 5 touchdowns on 34 carries. His 16-yard scoring scamper with 2:11 left in the game put the Papermakers ahead 33-28, a score they would hold on to the rest of the way. He also added 11 tackles on defense.

Week 7 Passing Leaders

Waukesha North is just 1-4 in the Classic Eight Conference this year, but the Northstars have been much more competitive overall this season. One of the big reasons for that has been the play of junior quarterback Brennan Demark. In a 49-27 loss to Mukwonago Friday night, he completed 30 of 40 passes for 344 yards and 4 touchdowns, giving him 12 touchdowns and just 1 interception on the season.
