FOOTBALL
Offense

Kyle Larson, Junior (Clayton, Wis.), Quarterback of UW-Stevens Point
Larson threw for 265 yards and matched his career-high of five touchdown passes in UW-Stevens Point’s 38-28 win over UW-Eau Claire on Homecoming on Oct. 3. He completed 19-of-27 passes in the game and did not commit a turnover. Larson led the Pointers on touchdown drives of 84, 76 and 68 yards in the first half and an 80-yard march in the third quarter.

Defense
Ryan Weber, Sophomore (Holmen, Wis.), Defensive Back of UW-La Crosse
Weber finished with a game-high 18 tackles, including 15 unassisted, and an interception at UW-River Falls on Oct. 3. He also had 0.5 tackle for loss. Weber's interception came with 6:35 remaining in the game.  He has a team-high 61 tackles this season, including 35 unassisted. Weber has recorded double-digit tackles in all four games this year.

Special Teams
Nick Jacobsen, Sophomore (Prescott, Wis.), Defensive Line of UW-River Falls
Jacobsen blocked an extra point in overtime in a 21-20 victory against UW-La Crosse on Oct. 3, helping the Falcons win their conference opener for the first time since 2008. UW-River Falls took a 21-14 lead on their first possession in overtime and the Eagles responded with a touchdown, but Jacobsen blocked the game-tying extra point try. He also had an interception on defense in the victory.
