Please note, divisional placement in our poll is based on our Enrollment Projections done earlier this year. Divisional placement in the WIAA playoffs is not determined until after the season and these projections can and will be different than the divisions at the end of the year. We have added an 8-Man Coaches Poll this season.

Division 1

It is still Kimberly and Arrowhead at the top of the Division 1 Coaches Poll, but Franklin did manage to snag a 1st place vote this week, though the Sabers again occupy the #3 position in the rankings. Bay Port nudged ahead of Appleton North, while Madison La Follette's loss dropped the Lancers out of the rankings. For the first time, undefeated Milwaukee King is in the rankings at #10.

Division 2

Waunakee solidified its spot atop the Division 2 Coaches Poll with a 17-12 win over rival DeForest, but De Pere and Chippewa Falls also received 1st place votes. Waukesha West went down to Catholic Memorial, dropping the Wolverines from 3rd to 9th this week. Slinger's defeat against Oconomwoc slid the Owls to #10 this week, while Superior dropped out of the rankings, allowing undefeated Waterford to enter the poll at #8. The list of unranked but outstanding teams in Division 2 includes Superior, Menomonie, Homestead, Greendale, Brookfield East, and Oregon amongst others.

Division 3

Rice Lake rallied to knock off Superior, allowing the Warriors to maintain the #1 position in Division 3, followed by Xavier, Kewaskum, Freedom, and Monona Grove. Undefeated Sheboygan Falls shoots up from #10 to #7 this week. Losses by Notre Dame and Berlin, both against ranked teams, caused them to drop, though they still remain in the top ten.

Division 4

Five undefeated teams continue to occupy the top five in Division 4, led once again by Lodi. Wrightstown had been just outside the top five at #6, but a second straight loss, this time to Freedom, caused the Tigers to tumble to #9. G-E-T's victory over previously undefeated Westby allowed the Red Hawks to re-enter the poll at #10.

Division 5

It was an interesting week in D5, where three teams suffered defeat, but all managed to remain in the poll. Amherst and Arcadia are dominant vote-getters at #1 and #2 respectively, but Elk Mound moves up to 3rd after Westby's loss to G-E-T. Chetek-Weyerhaeuser fell to Northwestern but holds on at #9, while Poynette dropped a game to Lakeside Lutheran on a running clock but held firm at #10.

Division 6

Volatility marked the Division 6 poll this week, headlined by Edgar's loss to Marathon and subsequent fall out of the #1 position. Darlington moved up to the top spot in unanimous fashion, while Edgar fell to #6, just behind Marathon. Saint Mary's Springs, with two losses on the season, shot up from #8 to #3 this week. Despite remaining undefeated at 7-0, Abbotsford got caught in the wash a bit, falling from #4 to #7 this week.

Division 7

A division full of turmoil and changeover most season's, D7 has become a relative bastion of stability, including seven undefeated teams in the top seven spots of the poll, with Pepin/Alma again at #1. The bottom three spots are all new, as Cassville, Potosi, and Owen-Withee re-enter the rankings.

8-Man Football

Stop me if you've heard this before, but Prairie Farm and Green Bay NEW Lutheran continue to hold down the top spots in the 8-Man Football Coaches Poll, just as they have all season. However, ranked teams Northwood/Solon Springs, Sevastopol, and Siren all lost. Siren dropped out of the rankings this week, as Lena/St. Thomas Aquinas moves in to the #10 spot.
