Alyssa Mueller of River Valley girls' volleyball has been selected as the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week for the week of September 28 through October 4 after a statewide vote on WisSports.net. 

There were 5,435 votes this week with Mueller receiving 2,012. Kylie Wilks of Union Grove girls' volleyball finished second with 1,993 votes. 

Mueller finished with 52 kills to help the Blackhawks go 5-0 at the Portage Invite. In their 2-1 win over River Falls in the title match, Mueller totaled 12 kills and 2 blocks.
