THE TOURNAMENT: The 34th Annual Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association Boys Soccer State Tournament will take place Thursday-Saturday, Nov. 5-7, 2015 at KOHLER Engines Stadium @ Uihlein Soccer Park in Milwaukee, Wis. Ticket prices for the tournament are $8. 

TOURNAMENT INFORMATION: The single-elimination tournament features four divisions. Four teams will compete for the State title in each of the divisions. Below are the pairings and time schedule of games.

STATE SEMIFINALS LIVE ON THE WEB:  The semifinals of all four divisions of the WIAA Boys Soccer State Tournament will be streamed live on the WIAA.TV portal of the NFHS Network on a subscription basis. To purchase a subscription to the live programming, log-on to www.nfhsnetwork.com and click on the “JOIN NOW” button in the upper right corner of the page. Archived streams of the games will be available on demand on the NFHS Network 72 hours after the tournament without requirement of a subscription. 

CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES ON FS WISCONSIN:  Watch the broadcast of the WIAA Boys Soccer State finals games Saturday on FS Wisconsin and the FS Wisconsin alternate channel. The Division  4 and the Division 3 title games will be aired live on FS Wisconsin at 10 a.m. and noon, respectively. The Division 2 and Division 1 championships finals will be aired on the FS Wisconsin alternate channel at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m., respectively. Check local cable listings for the channel in your area.

LAST YEAR:  Marquette won the Division 1 championship with a 4-1 win over Menomonee Falls in the final. In Division 2, Brookfield East captured the crown with a 2-0 blanking of Cedarburg. Delavan-Darien defeated Mount Horeb 3-1 in the final to win  the Division 3 title, and The Prairie School won the Division 4 championship with a 2-0 shutout over St. Thomas More in the championship game.

THE DIVISION 1 FIELD:  Defending champion Marquette qualifies for State for the 15th time, all coming in the last 16 years. The Hilltoppers have won 10 of the last 15 championships, winning four consecutive crowns from 2000-03 and adding titles in 2005, 2008, 2010-12 and again last year. In addition, they finished runner-up in 2004 and in 2007. They qualify this year by virtue of their 3-0 shutout over Kenosha Tremper in the sectional final hosted by Tremper. This will be the 14th trip to the State Tournament for Madison West. The Regents’ last appearance came in 2013. They have won three State titles, including back-to-back championships in 1987-88 and another in 1984. They have also recorded runner-up finishes in 1990 and 1986. The Regents are the representative from the Badger Sectional with a 3-2 win over Sun Prairie in the final. This will be the fifth trip to the State Tournament for Arrowhead. The Warhawks last appearance also came in 2013. They have advanced to the title game once in their previous appearances, resulting in a runner-up finish in 1985. Arrowhead is the representative from the Brookfield Central Sectional following its 3-1 victory over Sheboygan North in the final.  Kimberly qualifies for the State Tournament for the third  time and for the first time since 2012. The Papermakers lost in the quarterfinal round in both their previous experiences. Their return to State comes by virtue of a 2-1 overtime victory over Hudson in the Stevens Point Sectional final.

DIVISION 2 FIELD:  Whitefish Bay is making its 12th trip to the State Tournament and its second in the past three years. The Blue Dukes have won four State titles. They won consecutive crowns in 1982 and 1983 when the tournament featured one class. They added a Division 1 title in 1994 and a Division 2 championship in 1995. They have a runner-up finish in 2003 as well. In the Waukesha West Sectional final, the Blue Dukes defeated Pewaukee 3-1. Cedarburg has finished runner-up the past two seasons. The Bulldogs qualify for the third straight season and for the 11th time overall. They have won three Division 1 championships, those coming in 1989, 1991 and 1996. In addition to the past two seasons, they have runner-up finishes in 1992, 1994 and 1995. The Bulldogs downed Oshkosh North 2-0 in the sectional final hosted at Oshkosh North to continue their quest of a State title. Milton is the champion of the Waunakee Sectional following its 2-1 win over Oregon in the final. The win qualifies the Red Hawks for the third time. Their furthest advance in the tournament was to the Division 1 semifinals in 2008. River Falls advances to the State Tournament field for the first time following the Wildcats’ 4-2 victory over Pulaski in the Wausau East Sectional final.

THE DIVISION 3 FIELD:   Notre Dame qualifies for the State Tournament for the eighth time. The Tritons’ last appearance resulted in a runner-up finish in Division 3 in 2013. They won back-to-back Division 2 titles in 2007-08 and also won the crown in 2001. In addition, they finished runner-up in Division 2 in their first-ever appearance in 2000. This year, they advance to State as representative out of the sectional the Tritons’ hosted with a 3-1 win over Xavier in the final. Grafton qualifies for State for the seventh time and for the first time since 2007. The Black Hawks have finished runner-up in three of those previous appearances, finishing second in Division 2 in 1993, 1999 and 2006. They advance by virtue of a 4-1 triumph over Whitnall in the sectional final hosted by Whitnall. Mount Horeb returns to State for the second straight season and for the fifth time in the last six seasons, which accounts for all five of its previous appearances. The Vikings were the Division 2 champions in 2011 and runners-up in 2012. They added a Division 3 runner-up finish last season. The Vikings advance to State this year via a 7-2 romp of McFarland in the final hosted by Edgewood. Rice Lake qualifies for State again after making its inaugural State appearance last season, which resulted in a loss in the semifinals. The Warriors return to the State semifinals following a 5-3 victory over New London in the sectional held at Rice Lake.

THE DIVISION 4 FIELD:  Sturgeon Bay qualifies for the fifth time overall and for the third straight season in Division 4. The Clippers also qualified in Division 3 in 2010 and Division 2 in 2011. In all four of their previous experiences, the Clippers have fallen in the semifinals. This season, they qualify with a 3-1 win over Winnebago Lutheran in the Lomira Sectional final. Barron is back in the tournament for the third consecutive season, which accounts for its overall appearances. The Golden Bears have fallen in the semifinals in both of their previous experiences. Their return to the final field of four comes following a 2-0 shutout over Aquinas in the Cumberland Sectional final.  Racine St. Catherine’s qualifies for the first time since winning the Division 3 championship in 2009. It is the Angels’ fourth overall appearance, which includes back-to-back appearances in 2001-02. The first of those consecutive experiences resulted in a runner-up finish in Division 2. They earned their return to the field by virtue of a 3-0 shootout following a 0-0 tie with Wisconsin Heights/Barneveld in the final of The Prairie School Sectional. University School makes its third State Tournament appearance. The Wildcats won the Division 4 championship two seasons ago, and they were eliminated from their appearance in Division 3 in 2008 via a shootout in the semifinals. They advance to the State semifinals this year with a 6-5 shootout advantage following a 1-1 tie  with Sheboygan Christian/Sheboygan Lutheran in the Oostburg Sectional final.
