Favorite Sport (and why): "My favorite sport is basketball because ever since I was little I fell in love with the sport. There is just something about basketball that has made me grow to love it. I love having the ball in my hand and being in control of the offense. One of my favorite things about basketball is getting the ball to my teammates in a position to score."

Best Part of High School Sports: "The best part of playing high school sports is being able to play with your childhood best friends and being able to compete with them to make us both better athletes."

Best Advice from a High School Coach: "The best advice I have gotten from playing sports was 'What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.' I have used this quote to help push me through things that I think are tough. I think it has helped to transform me into the athlete I am today."

Most Memorable Moment in High School Sports: "The best memory was when we won regional finals on our home court for basketball my sophomore year. It was something that hadn’t been done for many years. It was such a great feeling to be a part of something so fun and eventful."

Best Part of Playing Three Sports: "The best part of playing three sports is being able to have a variety of different things to do. Every sport is so different from the others, which makes it fun to play the three that I do."

Toughest Part of Playing Three Sports: "The toughest part of playing three sports is trying to balance your social life, school life, and your sports life. Many nights, I am up late studying for tests and finishing up homework for the next day. Time management is a really huge, but important thing to learn."

Favorite Opponent: "Clayton has always been my favorite opponent because we have been rivals forever and the atmosphere is always so crazy and loud. For these games, our gym and their gym are always packed, which makes playing them so fun."

Favorite Professional Team: "My favorite professional basketball team is the Golden State Warriors. The Packers are my favorite NFL team. I love Jordy Nelson!"

Favorite Professional Athlete: "My favorite professional athlete is Stephen Curry. I love watching him play. He is so smooth with the ball, it just amazes me."

Favorite College Team: "My favorite college team is the Wisconsin Badgers! Go Bucky!"

Cumulative GPA: I have a GPA of 3.97 (Valedictorian)

Toughest Individual You’ve Competed Against: "The toughest person I have played against was Cameron’s Chloe Wanink. She was always hard to guard and always brought her best game. She helped to push me to be a better basketball player. Chloe now plays basketball for Wofford University."

Most Admired High School Teammate: "My most admired high school teammate is Nadia Alexander. She was always a vocal leader on the court, no matter what sport it was. She always competed with me and I really enjoyed working with and against her. She helped push me to be better."

College Plans: "My plans are to go to the University of Minnesota Duluth to play basketball for the Bulldogs and obtain a degree in the medical field as a Physician’s Assistant or Physical Therapist."

Activities Outside of Sports: Outside of sports I participate in drama, choir, and NHS.  I really love fishing as a form of relaxation.  I find it necessary to have an outlet to relax as being a three sport athlete can be very mentally and physically taxing.

I Find it Relaxing to: "I find it relaxing to take walks throughout the woods with my dog. I love going on adventures with my dog. She is a lab named Skylar Diggins who has so much energy. While on our walks she loves to lie in every puddle she can find."

Favorite TV Show: "My favorite TV show is Criminal Minds. I got hooked on it about a year ago and I can’t stop watching it."

Favorite Movie: "I really like the movie “Remember the Titans” because the little girl reminds me of myself and it is just a great story. My dad coaches high school football and the movie characters resemble he and I so much. I was a football manager from when I was little until high school when I started to play volleyball."

Favorite Musical Artist: "If I had to pick my favorite artist it would be Sam Hunt."

Favorite Subject: Science is my favorite subject. I love learning biology and how the body works together

Favorite Restaurant: "My favorite restaurant is Applebee’s. I love the chocolate cake so much!"

Favorite Website: "I enjoy using Pinterest a lot because I can find good ideas for projects that I am working on."

Other Family Members: Amy, mom; Joel, dad; and Carson, brother who is 15.
