Below are the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees for the week of November 9 through 15. Voting is open until Thursday at 4pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word. Users may vote once per day.

PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees: November 16-22

Ethan Ellingsworth, Osceola football, helps the Chieftains win the Division 4 state championship. He ran the ball 9 times for 108 yards and a touchdown; compiled 108 return yards; and recorded 8 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, and 2 sacks on defense. Osceola beat Lodi 28-0 in the D4 title game

Garrett Groshek, Amherst football, led the Falcons to touchdowns on their first six possessions, as he accounted for 4 passing scores and 2 on the ground. He finished with 12 carries for 161 yards, going 11 for 14 for 172 yards through the air. Amherst cruised to a 42-0 win over Spencer/Columbus Catholic in the Division 5 state championship game

Blair Mulholland, Kimberly football, finished with 46 carries for 341 yards and 4 touchdowns, as his attempts set a new all-division state finals record while his yardage eclipsed the previous mark of Joe Schobert of Waukesha West back in 2010. He also added 4 catches for 49 yards and 4 kick returns for 74 yards, giving him 464 all-purpose yards, also a state record. Kimberly defeated Arrowhead in the Division 1 state championship, 49-42, overcoming a 42-21 third quarter deficit.

Clay Schueffner, Saint Mary's Springs football, compiled 233 yards and 2 touchdowns on just 15 carries, an average of 15.5 yards per attempt. He scored on a pair of 56-yard runs. Schueffner was also led the team with 15 tackles, including 1.5 tackles for loss. Saint Mary's Springs beat Darlington 39-20 in the Division 6 state championship game

Matt Winters, Homestead football, carried the ball 30 times for 98 yards and 2 touchdowns to help the Highlanders capture the Division 2 state title, beating Waukesha West 28-12. On their 23-play, 79-yard touchdown drive that took 12:57 off the clock in the second half, Winters carried the ball 13 times, including the final seven plays, scoring on a 1-yard run.
