MEN’S BASKETBALL
Trinson White, Senior (Milwaukee, Wis./Riverside), Guard of UW-Whitewater
White was named Most Valuable Player and selected to the All-Tournament team after leading the No. 20-ranked Warhawks to a 3-0 record at the Pikes Peak Holiday Classic at Colorado College from Dec. 27-30. He averaged a double-double with 17.7 points and 12.3 rebounds per game and added eight assists, while shooting 51.4 percent from the floor and 83.3 percent (15-of-18) at the free-throw line. In the tournament opener against Concordia University-Texas, White tallied a game-high 22 points and a team-best nine rebounds to lead UW-Whitewater to a 108-90 triumph, good for the team’s highest offensive output in one game since 2009. Three days later against Colorado College, he posted 21 points and 19 rebounds, tied for the third-highest total in program history by an individual in one game, to help the Warhawks to an 81-58 victory.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
Teenie Lichtfuss, Senior (Oshkosh, Wis./Lourdes), Guard of UW-Eau Claire
Lichtfuss led the Blugolds to two a pair of wins against No. 24 -ranked DePauw University (Ind.) and Franklin College (Ind.) at the Amy Hasbrook Memorial Classic in Greencastle, Ind. She went over 1,000 points for her career in the third quarter in a 55-50 victory over DePauw. Lichtfuss had a team-high 13 points, shooting 5-of-11 from the floor (45 percent) and hit two critical free throws down the stretch. She followed up her milestone night with a season-high 30-point effort in a 57-48 triumph over Franklin. Lichtfuss was 11-of-17 from the floor (65 percent), including 4-of-7 from behind the three-point arc, and was perfect from the free-throw line. She also chipped in with eight rebounds, two blocked shots and two steals. In the two contests, Lichtfuss averaged 21.5 points per game shot 57 percent from the floor, including 50 percent from behind the three-point arc, and was 100 percent from the free-throw line. Her performance earned her a spot on the All-Tournament Team.
