With Barneveld trailing Madison Edgewood 56-54 with 13.4 seconds left, coach Doug Pickarts used a timeout to set up the final play. It wasn't what was drawn up, but the ball got back into Hannah Whitish's hands with a couple seconds remaining before she knocked down an off-balanced three-pointer to give the Golden Eagles the 57-46 victory over D3 No. 3 Madison Edgewood. 

The win extends Barneveld's winning streak to 24 games. They are the top-ranked team in Division 5 and have won the past two Division 5 State Championships.
