VIDEO: Groothousen's halfcourt heave gives Flambeau an overtime win
With New Auburn and Flambeau tied at 55 with just a few seconds remaining in overtime, New Auburn was set to inbounds the ball at midcourt, hoping to get off a desperation shot to give themselves a chance at the win. Flambeau's Chase Groothousen had other ideas however, stepping in front of a pass, taking one dribble, and launch a halfcourt heave a fraction of a second before the buzzer sounded. His prayer was answered when the ball banged off the backboard and through the hoop to lift Flambeau to a 58-55 victory.
