Senior Girls Basketball Awards: Shooter Finalists

Wisconsin Sports Network is proud to showcase the WSN High School Basketball Awards.

The pre-season watch list was trimmed down to 15 semi-finalists, and six finalists for the award have now been selected. Winners are announced the week of the state tournament. Finalists are eligible for just one of the five awards. There will be a total of 25 finalists for the five awards, five different players for each award.

Madie Kaelber, Kenosha Indian Trail -- Kaelber, a Carthage College recruit, averaged 25.5 points per game with 63 three-pointers while shooting over 47 percent from distance. Kaelber also contributed 5.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 3.3 steals, and 3.1 blocks per game. 

Taylor Klug, Sussex Hamilton -- Klug, a Minnesota State-Mankato recruit, is averaging 18.6 points per game with 45 three-pointers. Klug is shooting over 40 percent from the floor and 32 percent from behind the arc. Taylor also contributes 2.9 assists and 3.5 steals per game. Sussex Hamilton faces Mukwonago in a Division 1 sectional semi-final tonight. 

Jessi Marti, Cuba City -- Marti, a Northern State recruit, is averaging 18.9 points per game while shooting 76 percent from the free throw line and 29 percent from behind the arc. Marti also contributes 2.8 assists and 4.6 steals per game for the Cubans. Cuba City faces Mineral Point in a Division 4 sectional semi-final tonight. 

Kylie Moe, Brodhead -- Moe, a UW-Oshkosh recruit, averaged 22.7 points per game with 42 three-pointers. She shot 87 percent from the free throw line and 38 percent on three-pointers. Moe also contributed 8.5 rebounds, 5.6 assists and 4 steals per game. 

Dani Rhodes, Waukesha West -- Rhodes averaged 21.1 points per game with 64 three-pointers. She shot 77 percent from the foul line and 35 percent from behind the arc. 

Taylor Schneider, Turtle Lake -- Schneider, a Minnesota-Duluth recruit, led the state in scoring with 28.5 points per game and knocked down 54 three-pointers. She also averaged 8.1 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 4.4 steals per game.
