Senior Girls Basketball Awards: Post Finalists

Wisconsin Sports Network is proud to showcase the WSN High School Basketball Awards.

The pre-season watch list was trimmed down to 15 semi-finalists, and five finalists for the award have now been selected. Winners are announced the week of the state tournament. Finalists are eligible for just one of the five awards. There will be a total of 25 finalists for the five awards, five different players for each award.

Allie Barber, Cedarburg -- Barber is averaging 18.8 points, 9.3 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game for the Bulldogs. Cedarburg plays Beaver Dam in a Division 2 sectional semi-final tonight. 

Chelsea Brackmann, New Berlin Eisenhower -- Brackmann, a Bradley recruit, is averaging 13.9 points, 7.6 rebounds, 2.2 assists and a block per game for the Lions. New Berlin Eisenhower faces Pewaukee in a Division 2 sectional semi-final tonight. 

Gena Grundhoffer, Assumption -- Grundhoffer, a Lehigh recruit, is averaging 17.1 points per game for the Royals. Assumption faces Loyal tonight in a Division 5 sectional semi-final. 

Grace Mueller, Verona -- Mueller, a Wisconsin recruit, is averaging 15.7 points per game for the Wildcats. Verona plays Sun Prairie in a Division 1 sectional semi-final tonight. 

Karly Murphy, River Falls -- Murphy, a UW-Green Bay recruit, averaged 22.7 points, 15.2 rebounds and 2 steals per game for the Wildcats.
