Sometimes it is the unlikeliest of heroes that come through in the big moments, saving the best for last. With Friday's regional semi-final game between Oshkosh West and Marshfield tied at 72 in overtime, Marshfield tried holding the ball the last 30 seconds for the final shot. However, West stole the ball near the top of the key as the clock ticked down, giving the Wildcats the last opportunity. West probed briefly, before finding senior Connor Miller open in the left corner. He hoisted a shot, his first attempt of the game, and it found the bottom of the net at the buzzer, lifting Oshkosh West to a 75-72 victory.
