Wisconsin Sports Network is proud to showcase the WSN High School Basketball Awards.

The pre-season watch list previously was trimmed to 15 semi-finalists, and now five finalists for the award have been selected. Winners are announced the week of the state tournament. Finalists are eligible for just one of the five awards. There will be a total of 25 finalists for the five awards, five different players for each award.

Senior Boys Basketball Awards -- Wing Finalists

Peyton Dibble, 6-6, Cameron -- The Bemidji State recruit might be the best player in Wisconsin most fans have not heard about as he's turning in an outstanding senior campaign for the unbeaten Comets. Recently voted Player of the Year in the Central Division of the Lakeland Conference, Dibble is averaging 25.7 points, 6.6 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game. He is shooting 63 percent from the field, 80 percent from the foul line and 50 percent (60 of 121) from three-point range. The versatile wing prospect scored a career-high 43 points this year in a victory over Clear Lake.

Sam Hauser, 6-6, Stevens Point -- The co-Player of the Year in the Wisconsin Valley Conference along with teammate Trev Anderson, Hauser has battled shin splints all year and yet has still managed another stellar campaign for coach Scott Anderson and the Panthers, who take a 24-0 record into their sectional semifinal game against Superior. The Marquette University recruit is averaging 18.4 points, 9.0 rebounds and 3.8 assists per contest while shooting 56 percent from the floor, 81 percent from the line and 43 percent (50 of 116) from three-point range. Hauser has helped Stevens Point to a 96-6 record the past four years, including the 2015 WIAA Division 1 state title.

Davis Larson, 6-4, Sheboygan North -- A four-year varsity performer for coach Tom Desotell at Sheobygan North, Larson was voted Player of the Year in the Fox River Classic Conference after helping the Golden Raiders to the league championship. A NCAA Division II recruit for former Sheboygan North player and current Hillsdale College coach John Tharp, Larson is averaging 20.1 ppg and can play multiple positions. He has scored more than 1,500 points during his stellar prep career.

Brandon Myer, 6-7, Superior -- An outstanding scorer and rebounder, Myer has played exceptionally well for coach Jake Smith and the Spartans this season. The Minnesota-Duluth recruit is averaging 21.1 points, 8.0 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game while leading Superior to a 21-3 record and the title in the Lake Superior Conference. Myer is shooting 47 percent from the field, 85 percent from the foul line and 44 percent (55 of 126) from beyond the three-point arc.

Jake Nixon, 6-2, East Troy -- The transfer from Mukwonago has had a monster senior season for coach Darryl Rayfield and the Trojans, who take a 19-5 record into their sectional semifinal game against Rock Valley Conference rival Evansville on Thursday. Nixon is averaging 27.3 points per game to rank eighth among the state leaders. He scored the game-winning basket in a 65-63 overtime victory over Lakeside Lutheran in the regional final to extend the Trojans' season, and also went for a career-high 46 points in an 82-77 victory over Kenosha Indian Trails.
