Wisconsin Sports Network is proud to showcase the WSN High School Basketball Awards.

The pre-season watch list previously was trimmed to 15 semi-finalists, and now five finalists for the award have been selected. Winners are announced the week of the state tournament. Finalists are eligible for just one of the five awards. There will be a total of 25 finalists for the five awards, five different players for each award.

Senior Boys Basketball Awards -- Defense Finalists

Kostas Antetokounmpo, 6-11, Dominican -- No player in Wisconsin has more awe-inspiring blocks this season than Antetokounmpo, who seemingly comes out of nowhere to swat shots with his impressive jumping ability and length. Once he gets a few blocked shots in a game, opponents think twice about taking the ball to the hoop when he's on the floor. The younger brother of Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo, Kostas is averaging 13.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 2.2 blocked shots per game for Dominican, which is 23-1 under coach Derek Berger entering Thursday's sectional game with Destiny.

Kilian Boland, 6-2, Seneca -- A versatile player who is a key performer in the Indians' 2-3 zone, Boland is the do-everything leader for a Seneca squad that is 22-2 heading into a sectional semifinal Thursday against Barneveld. The son of Seneca coach David Boland, Kilian Boland ranks among team leaders in scoring (12.3 ppg), rebounding (5.4 rpg), assists (6.9 apg) and steals (2.5 spg).

Max Keefe, 6-6, Germantown -- Keefe is a very good scorer for the North Shore Conference-champion Warhawks at 18.0 ppg, but his ability to protect the basket and rebound on the defensive end of the court have been key assets for a Germantown squad that is 20-4 under coach Mark Adams. The Concordia-St. Paul recruit ranks among the team leaders in rebounding and blocked shots, thanks in large part to his long wingspan and impressive jumping ability.

Xavier Leichleitner, 6-1, Marathon -- A physically and mentally strong wing player who shared Player of the Year honors in the Southern Division of the Marawood Conference with Newman Catholic's Dane Fronek, Leichleitner played a huge role in helping the Red Raiders win the league title. He ranks among the team leaders in scoring (11.7 ppg), rebounding (5.9 rpg), assists (4.5 apg) and steals (3.5 spg) while also defending well on the perimeter and in the lane.

Collin Moen, 6-3, Lake Mills -- One several stellar defenders in the Lake Mills program, Moen's strong effort on defense was instrumental in helping Lake Mills to a 22-2 record and the title in the Northern Division of the Capital Conference. The 6-foot-3 wing player averaged 8.9 points, 4.2 rebounds and 4.5 assists per outing, but more importantly, he set the tone for his team's success with his toughness and winning mentality.
