Brown Deer's Taurus Adams II selected as the state's top senior Post player

Brown Deer's Taurus Adams II has been selected as the top senior Post player as part of the WSN Senior Boys Basketball Awards.

One of the top unsigned seniors in Wisconsin, Adams II averaged a team-best 21.0 points per game as a senior while leading Brown Deer to a 19-5 record.

As a junior, the athletic, versatile and skilled Adams II averaged 12.7 points and 7.0 rebounds per contest while helping Brown Deer to the WIAA Division 3 state title.

Adams II can play either forward position and is active on the glass and on defense for coach Kelly Appleby and the Falcons.

Finalists for the award were Adams II, Amherst's Tyler Biadasz, Racine Park's Kaj Days, Appleton West's Jack Flynn, and Evansville's Kyle Rutkowski.

Past winners of the award include Diamond Stone of Dominican (2015), Davante Jackson of Brown Deer (2014), Luke Fischer of Germantown (2013), and Luke Heller of D.C. Everest (2012).
