WFSCA/WisSports.net Softball Coaches Poll - Week of May 2

Division 1

Top-ranked and undefeated Union Grove travels to No. 2 Westosha Central on Thursday, the Broncos won their first match-up 6-1. Oshkosh North suffered their first setback of the year last Friday against Appleton North, but remain at No. 3 in the coaches poll. Stevens Point moves up three spots to No. 4 after posting wins over Chippewa Falls and Kaukauna on Saturday. Pulaski joins the top 10 at No. 7 after moving to 14-1 on the season. DSHA has lost three-straight after starting the year 12-0 and drop to honorable mention. Green Bay Preble and Menomonee Falls join the honorable mention list this week. 

Division 2

Delavan-Darien moves into the top spot of the Division 2 WFSCA/WisSports.net Coaches Poll. La Crosse Logan moves down one spot to No. 2, while undefeated teams Waupun and Whitnall are third and fourth, respectively. No. 6 Mosinee handed Great Northern foe Rhinelander their first loss of the season Thursday, winning 5-0. New Berlin West dropped their first game of the season last Tuesday, falling to No. 4 Whitnall 10-7. Bloomer joins the honorable mention list this week. 

Division 3

Laconia continues to be the top-ranked team in Division 3. Grantsburg moves up to No. 2, and are followed by Poynette, Pacelli and Luther in the top five. Weyauwega-Fremont lost three games last week and drop to No. 6 in the coaches poll. Lomira has won nine consecutive games and move up to No. 7. Mineral Point joins the honorable mention list this week. 

Division 4

The top five spots in the WFSCA/WisSports.net Coaches Poll are the same as last week with undefeated Thorp leading the way. The Cardinals host No. 3 McDonell Central on Thursday. Catholic Central moves up three spots to No. 6, while Cashton grabs the No. 10 spot this week. Oakfield drops out of the top 10, while Assumption joins the honorable mention list.
