Bryce McMurtry of Menomonee Falls boys track & field has been selected as the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week for the week of May 16 through 22 after a vote on WisSports.net.

There were 4,337 votes this week with McMurtry receiving 1,546 votes. Becca Oleniczak of Oak Creek softball finished second with 1,485 votes. 

McMurtry finished first in the 110 meter hurdles (14.40) and 300 meter hurdles (39.20) at the Greater Metro Outdoor Championships last Tuesday.

Bryce has the best time in the state in the 110 meter hurdles and is third in the 300 meter hurdles this season.
