Below are the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees for the week of May 23 through 29. Voting is open until Thursday at 4pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word. Users may vote once per day.

PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees: May 23-29

Rashid Coulibaly, Oshkosh North boys track & field: Coulibaly finished first in the pole vault at WIAA Division 1 West Bend West Sectional. His vault of 15 feet, 3 inches is tied for the best in the state this season.  

Emily Draeger, Marshfield softball: Draeger helped the Wildcats upset No. 9 Chippewa Falls 11-8 to advance to Division 1 sectional play. She went 3-for-3 with a double, 2 RBI and 3 runs scored in the victory. 

Cole Hoffman, Stratford baseball: Hoffman hit a walk-off double in the bottom of the ninth to lead the Tigers to a 5-4 win over Colby in a Division 4 regional. He finished with 2 RBI and earned the win on the mound, pitching four innings with 2 strikeouts. 

Cassidy Huber, Alma Center Lincoln softball: Huber helped the Hornets advance to Division 4 sectional play, defeating No. 5 McDonell Central 11-2 on Friday. Cassidy hit a grand slam in the Hornets seven-run sixth inning to give them a 11-2 lead, a the score they would win by. 

Kassie Spees, Nekoosa girls track & field: Spees took first in the 100 meter hurdles at the Division 2 Little Chute Sectional on Thursday. Her time of 14.81 is the second-best mark of the season, according to Wisconsin Track Online.
