Senior Softball Awards: Pitcher Finalists

Wisconsin Sports Network is proud to showcase the WSN Senior Softball Awards presented by Easton.

The pre-season watch list has been trimmed down to five finalists. Winners are announced the week of the softball state tournament.

WSN Senior Softball Awards -- Pitcher Finalists:

Jordyn Kleman, La Crosse Logan – Kleman went 18-3 with a 0.80 ERA with 259 strikeouts in 131 1/3 innings pitched. The Winona State recruit twirled 6 no-hitters for the Rangers who reached a Division 2 sectional semi-final and finished with a 19-7 overall record. 

Bella Matthias, Greenfield – Matthias finished the season with a 17-3 record with a 0.85 ERA and 280 strikeouts in 131 1/3 innings pitched. The Hustlin’ Hawks went 23-4 overall this the season and reached Division 1 sectional play. 

Brittany Moore, Union Grove – Moore is 14-1 with a 0.69 ERA with 200 strikeouts in 101 innings pitched. At the plate, she is hitting .536 with 12 doubles, 4 home runs and 25 RBI. Brittany also has 20 stolen bases on the season. Union Grove plays conference foe Westosha Central in a Division 1 sectional final today. 

Olivia Tucker, Grantsburg – Tucker is 23-2 with 255 strikeouts and a 0.06 ERA for the Pirates. She has also pitched six no-hitters. At the plate, she is hitting .456 with 8 doubles, a home run, a triple and 30 RBI. Grantsburg plays Elk Mound in a Division 3 sectional final today.

Jenna Speth, Delavan-Darien – Speth is 15-6 with a 1.54 ERA and 257 strikeouts in 149 2/3 innings pitched. At the plate, she’s hitting .581 with 12 home runs and 48 RBI while sporting a 1.881 on base plus slugging percentage. Delavan-Darien faces McFarland in a Division 2 sectional final today. She's committed to play softball at University of Illinois at Chicago.
