Senior Softball Awards: Outfielder Finalists

Wisconsin Sports Network is proud to showcase the WSN Senior Softball Awards presented by Easton.

The pre-season watch list has been trimmed down to five finalists. Winners are announced the week of the softball state tournament.

Madison Bogie, Wisconsin Rapids – Bogie hit .500 with 4 home runs, 20 RBI and 15 runs scored. She carried a .840 slugging percentage and went 5-for-6 on stolen base attempts. She earned First Team All-Wisconsin Valley for the Red Raiders. 

Lexy Campshure, Hortonville – Campshure is hitting .427 with 16 RBI and 17 runs scored. She also has 7 extra base hits and has a perfect fielding percentage. Hortonville plays Pulaski in a sectional final today. 

Abby Elsholtz, New London – Elsholtz is hitting .449 with 3 home runs, 32 RBI and 33 runs scored. She also has a .628 slugging percentage for the Bulldogs who play Southern Door in a Division 2 sectional final today. 

Alyssa Nilssen, Baldwin-Woodville – Nilssen finished the season with a .420 batting average with 9 home runs and 29 RBI. She also had a .827 slugging percentage and 1.299 on base plus slugging percentage for the Blackhawks. As the team’s centerfielder, Alyssa had a .943 fielding percentage for Baldwin-Woodville who reached a Division 3 sectional semi-final. 

Bailey Schultz, Mosinee – Schultz hit .519 with 14 RBI and 33 runs scored. The UW-Green Bay recruit had 8 extra base hits, including 6 doubles, while not striking out all season. In the field, she had a .977 fielding percentage with 6 outfield assists. Mosinee finished the season with a 19-3 record.
