Below are the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees for the week of May 30 through June 5. Voting is open until Thursday at 4pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word. Users may vote once per day.

PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees: May 30-June 5

Jim Hoesley, Arcadia boys track & field: Hoesley captured Division 2 titles in the 110 meter hurdles (14.41) and the 300 meter hurdles (38.41) at the state track & field meet in La Crosse. Jim also finished third in the 200 meter dash (21.93). 

Madison Kuhl, Southwestern softball: Kuhl led the Wildcats to their first-ever trip to the state tournament, recording 14 strikeouts in their 5-3 win over De Soto in a Division 4 sectional final at Belmont. Madison also pitched a complete game in their 4-2 victory against top-seed Juda/Albany in a sectional semi-final. 

Aubrey Roberts, Eau Claire Memorial girls track & field: Roberts set the state-record in the 3,200 meter run at the state track & field meet in La Crosse. Her time of 10 minutes, 13.68 second beat a 31-year-old state meet record, previously held by Sauk Prairie's Lori Wolter (10:15.4) set back in 1985. 

Evan Sigmund, Oconto Falls baseball: Sigmund went 3-for-5 and picked up the victory on the hill for the Panthers in their 7-6 win over top-seeded Seymour in a Division 2 regional final. 

Abby Wisneski, St. Mary Catholic girls soccer: Wisneski recorded a hat trick in the Zephyrs 5-1 victory over Wrightstown in a Division 4 regional final.
