Westosha Central's Kayla Konwent has been selected as the top senior infielder/catcher as part of the WSN Senior Softball Awards presented by Easton.
Konwent batted .509 batting average with 6 home runs and 32 RBI. The Wisconsin recruit was walked an eye-popping 49 times this season and has struck out just twice.
Kayla carried a .740 on base percentage and a 1.703 on base plus slugging percentage.
She is a three-time WFSCA Division 1 Player of the Year and helped the Falcons capture two Division 1 state titles and a state runner-up finish.
The catcher will rake in more honors when they are released for this season.
Westosha Central finished the season with a 24-5 record. Their season ended in sectional final to Southern Lakes conference foe Union Grove who is in the state semi-finals.
Finalists for the award were Konwent, Lexi Kemnitzer of McFarland, Claire Ryan of Union Grove, Taylor Stoinski of Thorp and Kyra Verheyen of Waupun.
