Below are the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees for the week of June 20 through 26. Voting is open until Thursday at 4pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word. Users may vote once per day.

PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees: June 20-26

Joe Acker, Marquette baseball: Acker helped the Hilltoppers to wins over West Allis Central (12-2), Brookfield Central (6-2) and Wauwatosa East (8-0) last week. He tallied 4 hits, 6 RBI and 5 runs scored in their three wins. 

D.J. Ellifson, Oak Creek baseball: Ellifson hit a bases-loaded single in the second inning to give the Knights a 3-0 lead against Sussex Hamilton, they would score three more runs in the game and beat the Chargers 6-3. Oak Creek also posted wins over Brookfield East (7-2), Menomonee Falls (5-1), Homestead (7-3), West Allis Central (12-0) and Kettle Moraine (16-13) last week. 

Jake Simuncak, South Milwaukee baseball: Simuncak helped the Rockets to wins over Cudahy (15-10) and Wauwatosa West (5-2) last week. He went 5-for-5 with 3 RBI and 4 runs scored in the win over Cudahy and had a pair of hits in their victory against Wauwatosa West. 

Anthony Schlass, West Bend West baseball: Schlass helped the Spartans to wins over Port Washington (12-0), Germantown (2-0) and Nicolet (11-0). Anthony went 2-for-3 with 2 RBI in their win over Germantown. In their victory against Nicolet he allowed 3 hits and struck out 6 hitters, while also going 2-for-4 with 2 RBI at the plate. 

Rob Zolecki, Muskego baseball: Zolecki pitched 5 2/3 innings with 5 strikeout to earn the win over Kettle Moraine, 13-2, while also going 3-for-3 with 4 RBI in the win. Muskego also beat Kettle Moraine 5-0 last Monday.
