U.S. Army Week 2 Team of the Week Nominees:

Hudson - The Raiders have put on some miles this year, with a 470-mile round trip to Middleton in Week 1 to face Greenfield, followed by a 582-mile round trip to Arrowhead in Week 2. Head coach Adam Kowles had to be feeling a bit of deja vu Friday night, as his team went up big on Arrowhead early in the game, only to see the Warhawks rally and take the lead in the second half. It was the same scenario as last year, when Hudson led 27-7 in the third quarter, only to see Arrowhead score 28 unanswered points in a 35-27 victory. This year was different however, as Hudson stayed strong and regained the lead for good with 7:51 left to play in a 33-30 win. The Raiders racked up 322 rushing yards, led by 152 from Jagger Marvin. Aaron Squires had three touchdown runs to help topple Division 1's second-ranked team.

Jefferson - The Eagle shared the 2014 Rock Valley-North title with Evansville/Albany, defeating the Blue Devils 20-13 in Week 5 of that season. Evansville/Albany had not lost a league game since, until Friday night that is. Hunter Milbarth scored on a 1-yard plunge with just 46 seconds left to lift Jefferson to a 20-17 victory over the Blue Devils. Zack Peterson threw for 179 yards, while Evan Anfang led the team in rushing with 97 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Regis - Two of the top teams in the Cloverbelt Conference in recent seasons, Regis and Stanley-Boyd were picked towards the top of the league once again, both entering Friday night's showdown ranked in the top five of their respective divisions. Utilizing a new and improved passing game that put up 155 yards and 2 touchdowns, Regis also saw a balanced rushing attack go for 226 yards in a 37-30 victory. It wasn't easy, as Stanley-Boyd rallied from 16 points down to tie the game late. However, Alex Rocksvold capped a 67-yard drive with a 3-yard touchdown run with just 25 seconds remaining to give Reigs the win.

Saint Mary's Springs - It was a unique opportunity for fans around the state on Friday, as defending Division 6 champion Saint Mary's Springs traveled to defending Division 5 champion Amherst. One of only a handful of such defending champion match-ups in state history, it lived up to the billing. The Ledgers got on the board first when Mitch Waechter returned an interception for a touchdown, as he would add another pick on Amherst's final play to clinch the 20-17 victory for Springs. It ended a 28-game home winning streak for Amherst that had dated back to 2011.

Winnebago Lutheran - The Vikings have been overshadowed by Saint Mary's Springs in the Flyway the last few years, but WLA is one of the few programs in the state that can boast at least one playoff win in each of the last three years. A Week 2 non-conference game against Kenosha St. Joseph won't impact playoff qualification or competing for a Flyway title, but the 45-7 dominating victory provides plenty of momentum and will be important at the seeding meeting. The Vikings went up 42-0 at halftime and led 45-0 before St. Joseph's got on the board. Erick Schmitz led the team with 136 rushing yards and 3 scores, adding a pair of touchdown passes as well. Dillon Jardee also eclipsed the century mark on the ground with 108 yards and a score.
