Prep Props is our weekly look at the best individual statistical performances in the state, with the leaders in rushing yards, passing yards, and receiving yards. Prep Props is published every Monday morning.

Week 5 Rushing Leaders

It was a close game Friday night as Fort Atkinson and Portage battled in a non-conference Badger crossover. Fort led just 21-20 at halftime, but pulled away in the second half behind three Preston Strasburg touchdown runs to score a 42-28 victory. In the game, Strasburg rushed 38 times for 409 yards and 5 touchdowns. His yardage is in the top 15 of single-game performances in state history.

Week 5 Passing Leaders

Aquinas did everything it could offensively to keep up with La Crosse Central, but it was to no avail, as the Red Raiders won 48-20. In the game, Aquinas senior quarterback completed 18 of 34 passes for 432 yards and 2 touchdowns, though he also threw a pair of interceptions.

Week 5 Receiving Leaders

Watertown has put up some ridiculous passing numbers this year, as quarterback Dylan Fagerland leads the state with more than 1600 passing yards, while receiver Ryan Hayden has a state-best 922 receiving yards. For Hayden, that includes 307 receiving yards in a 55-20 win over West Bend West on Friday, as he caught 13 passes with 3 touchdowns. His 307 yards is tied for sixth in the state record book.
