Laurel Bailey of Waunakee girls' volleyball has been selected as the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week for the week of September 12-18 after a vote on WisSports.net. 

There were 3,572 votes this week; Bailey received 1,304 voters while Hannah Kuehl of Kettle Moraine Lutheran girls' volleyball finished second with 1,255 votes. 

Bailey led the Warriors to the Middleton Cardinal Invite on Saturday. She collected a match-high 8 kills in their 25-22, 25-19 victory over River Valley in the championship match.
