As part of the weekly preview I produce every Thursday showcasing the best games from around the state, I always highlight one contest as the Game of the Week. To expand on that, each week I'll post a poll where you -- the fans -- can vote for who you think will win the Game of the Week.

Notre Dame (6-0, 6-0; D3 #1) at Bay Port (6-0, 6-0; D1 #2) – Friday, 7 pm

The last remaining unbeaten teams in the FRCC square off in this one, with the winner in the driver's seat for a conference title, though still a ways to go. Both teams like to run the football first but are more than capable of throwing it as well. Notre Dame will pound away with Nate Ihlenfeldt, who has more than 1,000 rushing yards with 16 touchdowns this year. Bay Port is a power spread team, with quarterback Quinn Pierner serving as not only the leading passer but also the top rusher as well. With conference title and seeding implications on the line, this one could also determine the league's Player of the Year and potentially if Ihlenfeldt or Pierner will be in the discussion for state Player of the Year at the end of the season.
