Below are the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees for the week of October 3 through 9. Voting is open until Thursday at 4pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word. Users may vote once per day.

Fintan Floyd, Saint Mary's Springs football: Floyd carried the ball 20 times for 217 yards and 4 touchdowns in the Ledgers' 61-15 win over Laconia on Friday to move to 8-0 on the season, including 5-0 in the Flyway. 

Katie Frohmader, Fort Atkinson girls volleyball: Frohmader compiled 83 kills, 65 digs and 8 aces to lead the Blackhawks to the Badger-South tournament title Saturday in Monroe. Fort Atkinson beat Stoughton in back-to-back matches to capture the tournament title, Frohmader finished with 28 kills in those two matches. 

Hunter Holmes, Rice Lake boys soccer: Holmes led the Warriors to a pair of wins last week. He tallied 3 goals and 2 assists in their 5-0 win over Menomonie on Tuesday and scored a goal and added 3 assists in the Warriors' 7-0 win over Superior on Friday. 

Alberto Martinez, Beloit Memorial boys soccer: Martinez finished with 3 goals and 2 assists in the Purple Knights' 6-4 win over Middleton on Thursday. He also scored a goal in their 2-1 win over Madison West on Tuesday. 

Nicole Shanahan, Oconomowoc girls volleyball: Shanahan helped the Raccoons win the Arrowhead Invite on Saturday; beating Brookfield Central 25-16, 25-16 in the championship match. Nicole finished with 26 kills and 10 blocks on the day, including 7 kills and 4 blocks in the championship match.
