Basketball Honors: Four-year captain for coach and father Mike Schmidt...averaged 14.4 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3 assists and 2.7 steals per game as a junior...first team all-conference as a junior...second team all-conference as a freshman and sophomore...enters senior year with 843 career points. 

Softball Honors: Two-year captain for coach Tony DeWar...second team all-Rock Valley North as a junior...first team all-conference as a sophomore...honorable mention all-conference as a freshman...starting shortstop since freshman year.

Favorite Sport (and why): "Volleyball during volleyball season and basketball during basketball season because they are exciting sports." 

Best Part of High School Sports: "The best part of high school sports is being with my teammates and forming an indescribable bond both on and off the court."  

Best Advice from a High School Coach: "Get involved in as many activities as possible because your four years will go by super fast."

Most Memorable Moment in High School Sports: "Winning the tournament in the Bahamas this summer with all my Edgerton volleyball teammates was certainly the most memorable moment of my high school sports career!"

Best Part of Playing Three Sports: "I’m never away from my teammates."

Toughest Part of Playing Three Sports: "Keeping the coaches happy by getting to every camp, tournament, open gym, workout, and sweat league games during the summer and time management during the school year are by far the toughest parts of playing three sports."
