WisSports.net Level 1 Player of the Week Nominees:

Caiden Haake, Pepin/Alma - It was a much closer game than Pepin/Alma was hoping for in Level 1, as the Eagles had to rally from a third quarter deficit and hold off Clear Lake 35-34. Haake can it 30 times for 264 yards and 5 touchdowns, including the tying and go-ahead touchdowns in the fourth quarter. He added one reception for 35 yards, 16 tackles, 43 yards in returns, punted once for 35 yards, and made five extra points.

Charles Jadin, Freedom - Going against former league rival Xavier in Level 1 of the playoffs, Freedom was abel to take care of business quickly, scoring 28 second quarter points en route to a 49-12 victory. Jadin threw three touchdowns in that decisive second period, finishing the day 15 of 19 for 314 yards and 5 touchdowns, resulting in a perfect 158.3 passer rating.

Joshua Komis, Green Bay Southwest - After dropping a shootout to Ashwaubenon in the regular season, Green Bay Southwest looked to take care of business in the playoffs. They did it by riding workhorse senior running back Joshua Komis, who carried the ball 39 times for 350 yards and 3 touchdowns in a 34-10 victory. He had a pair of second quarter scores to help stake the Trojans to a lead, then added another in the third quarter.

Seth Wilson, Holmen - Holmen lost to Superior during the regular season, but Wilson helped make sure that would not happen again, as the 7th-seeded Vikings ran all over the 2nd-seeded Spartans in a 58-37 upset. He finished the day with 221 rushing yards and 4 scores on just 15 carries, adding a 90-yard kickoff return score as well.

Ryan Zuern, Hartford - It was a wild Level 1 game between Oshkosh North and host Hartford, as the teams combined for 39 points in the fourth quarter, including 31 in the final 5:23 of the game. After a Hartford field goal put the Orioles up 45-42 with just 10 seconds remaining, Zuern made a game-saving tackle on a North lateral play to end it. He also rushed 29 times for 182 yards and 2 touchdowns and led the team with 74 receiving yards.
