FOOTBALL
Offense

Drew Patterson, Sophomore (Sussex, Wis./Hamilton), Running Back of UW-Whitewater

Patterson rushed for 150 yards, including 128 in the first half, and totaled two touchdown receptions for another 40 yards to help the No. 2-ranked Warhawks remain undefeated with a 24-2 victory over UW-Stevens Point at Perkins Stadium on Oct. 22. He put UW-Whitewater on the board with a 26-yard screen pass near the end of the first quarter, then added his second score of the day on a 14-yard screen play in the final two minutes of the second quarter. The performance was Patterson’s fourth 100-yard rushing game of the season and second straight contest with at least 190 all-purpose yards. He now has 13 total touchdowns for the season.

Defense
Albert Itula, Senior (Tomah, Wis./Carson, Calif.), Linebacker of UW-River Falls
Itula led the UW-River Falls defense in a 50-28 victory over UW-Stout on Oct. 22. He had six total tackles, two tackles for a losses of 17 yards, a quarterback sack for -15 yards, a quarterback hurry and an interception for a touchdown. Itula’s interception return for a touchdown covered 30 yards to seal the victory in the fourth quarter.

Special Teams
Austin Kolden, Junior (Blaine, Minn./Coon Rapids), Kicker of UW-Eau Claire
In a 20-14 victory over UW-La Crosse on Oct. 22, Kolden was two for two on field goal attempts. He put the Blugolds up 10-7 heading into halftime with a 44-yard field goal, and hit again early in the fourth quarter from 33 yards giving the Blugolds a 20-14 advantage. In the victory, Kolden’s kick-offs helped keep the Eagles’ field position in check - on five kick-offs he averaged 59.4 yards per attempt.
