Level 2 Team of the Week Nominees:

Abundant Life/Saint Ambrose - It was a thrilling way to close the season for the Challengers, who capped a perfect campaign with a 40-34 overtime victory over Prairie Farm to claim the unofficial state title at the 8-Man Jamboree. Obi Iwuagu was huge, rushing 33 times for 247 yards and 5 touchdowns, including the game-winning 13-yarder in overtime. Abundant Life finishes 9-0 in head coach Mark Martinez's final season.

Edgar - Seeded fourth after a tough regular season that saw the Wildcats battle injuries, many pegged Edgar as a sleeper team in Division 7. The Wildcats jumped all over previously undefeated top seed Wild Rose, going up 43-7 at halftime before cruising home for a 50-7 victory.

Kiel - Two weeks ago, Kiel dropped a one-score contest to Sheboygan Falls. Fast forward to Level 2 of the playoffs, and the Raiders flipped the script, shocking the previously undefeated Falcons 10-7. It was a hard-fought, defensive battle, with Max Feldmann scoring a touchdown early in the fourth quarter to pull even at 7, and Jacob Friend connecting on a 27-yard field goal with 1:36 left in the game to provide the winning points.

Saint Croix Central - Osceola has been a thorn in the side of Saint Croix Central the last year, defeating the Panthers three times, all in very close ballgames. SCC finally got a measure of revenge, handing defending D4 champion Osceola its first loss of the year, 21-14. Cole Refsnider scored all three Saint Croix Central touchdowns, including what proved to be the game-winner with 10:48 left in the game. He finished with 27 carries for 157 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Winnebago Lutheran - A balanced rushing attack helped the Vikings post 253 yards on the ground, as they held off previously unbeaten Southern Door 10-7. Eric Schmitz scored the lone touchdown for WLA, a 5-yard run in the third quarter to post the team to a 10-0 advantage. Winnebago Lutheran moves on to Level 3 where they'll face defending state champion Amherst.
