Thomas Bruneau, Marquette boys soccer, has been selected as the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week for the week of October 31 through November 6 after a vote on WisSports.net. 

There were 2,859 votes this week; Bruneau received 1,072 while Samantha Yancy, Howards Grove girls volleyball, finished second with 1,021 votes. 

 Bruneau helped the Hilltoppers capture their third straight state title on Saturday at Uihlein Soccer Park in Milwaukee, defeating Green Bay Preble 1-0 in the Division 1 championship match.

Thomas scored the only goal of the match on a headed off of a corner kick in the 50th minute. He also scored a goal in their victory over Brookfield Central, 3-0, in a state semi-final.
