Below are the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees for the week of November 28 through December 4. Voting is open until Thursday at 4pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word. Users may vote once per day.

PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees: November 28-December 4

Payton Dachel, Bloomer boys basketball: Dachel led the Blackhawks to a 70-66 double overtime win against Regis on Saturday. He finished with a team-high 23 points, which included a 3-point play to send the game to a second overtime and hit four three throws in the second overtime to help seal the game. 

Ashley Henry, Columbus girls basketball: Henry tallied a pair of double-doubles last week for the Cardinals. She finished with 18 points, 14 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 blocks in their 85-60 win over Wautoma. In a loss to New Glarus, Ashley compiled 11 points, 12 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 blocks for the Cardinals. 

Hannah Jones, Dodgeville girls basketball: Jones scored 37 points in a pair of games last week. She reached the career-high mark in a 58-46 win over River Valley on Friday and on Tuesday night in a loss to Darlington, 62-53. 

Troy Slaby, Stoughton boys basketball: Slaby scored a career-high 40 points and surpassed 1,000 career points in the Vikings 82-63 win over Milwaukee Bradley Tech on Saturday. He connected on 7 three-pointers and went 9-for-11 from the free throw line. On Tuesday, Troy scored 21 points in their 87-30 win over Milton. 

Nacio Villarreal, Beloit Turner boys basketball: Villarreal scored a career-high 37 points and led the Trojans to win over Big Foot, 78-40, in their opening game of the season. Nacio shot 14-for-20 from the floor, including hitting 6 of 12 three-point attempts.
