Below are the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees for the week of December 5 through 11. Voting is open until Thursday at 4pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word. Users may vote once per day.

PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees: December 5-11

Mikayla Brouette, Pardeeville girls basketball: Brouette surpassed 1,000 career points in the Bulldogs 59-33 win against Randolph last Monday. The Bemidji State recruit finished with 26 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 5 steals in the win. 

Connor Heise, Lena boys basketball: Heise finished with 28 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists, and 6 steals in their win over Coleman, 79-55, on Tuesday. In their 76-35 win over Gillett on Friday, Connor compiled 29 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists, and 8 steals for the Wildcats. In the two games last week, Heise made 20 of 34 field goals, shot 10-for-13 on free throws, and connected on 7 of 12 three-pointers. 

Nick LeCaptain, Southern Door boys basketball: LeCaptain scored a school-record 50 points in the Eagles 100-88 win over Oconto on Tuesday. He connected on 8 three-pointers and went 12-for-13 from the free throw line. In their 81-52 win against Kewaunee on Friday, Nick finished with 20 points, 4 assists, and 5 steals for the Eagles. 

Jenna Mace, Wisconsin Dells girls basketball: Mace scored a game-high 21 points in their 52-43 win over D3 No. 9 Marshall on Tuesday. She tallied a game-high 17 points in their victory against Adams-Friendship, 45-30, on Friday. In the Chiefs 45-36 win over Cambridge on Saturday, Jenna scored 12 points. 

Ian Malcolmson, Waukesha Wings boys hockey: Malcolmson scored 4 goals and added an assist in their 5-4 win over Janesville Bluebirds on Tuesday. In their 7-1 victory against Greendale Ice Force on Friday, Ian tallied 4 goals for the Wings.
