Division 1

FVA rivals Oshkosh North and Kimberly continue to hold down the top two spots in the Division 1 Coaches Poll, though weather delayed their first meeting last week. Now, the teams won't meet for the first time until January 31st. Stevens Point is again third, but Madison Memorial has moved into the #3 position, as Brookfield Central dropped its first game of the year to crosstown rival Brookfield East.

Division 2

The #1 vs. #2 showdown between Waunakee and La Crosse Central at the Midwest Player's Classic on Saturday turned into a blowout, as Central hammered the Warriors 75-54. Not surprisingly, La Crosse Central moved into the top position this week, while Waunakee dropped to third, a spot behind undefeated Beaver Dam. Milwaukee Washington moves into the rankings this week at #8.

Division 3

Ripon continues to occupy the #1 position in the Division 3 WisSports.net Coaches Poll, with fellow unbeatens Xavier and Westby right behind. Defending champion Waupun suffered its third loss of the year, this time to unbeaten Beaver Dam on Saturday, dropping the Warriors further, from sixth to ninth. Despite four tough losses to larger teams, Madison Edgewood has been impressive this year and moves into the poll at #10.

Division 4

The top seven remains unchanged this week, with Destiny leading the way ahead of Darlington. Young Coggs Prep did suffer its first loss of the season, but the team remains at the #5 spot. The bottom of the poll struggled, as Regis, Edgar, and Saint Mary's Springs all suffered losses. Edgar and Regis narrowly hang in the rankings, while Springs drops out in favor of Spring Valley.

Division 5

The top eight of the D5 poll is the same as last week, with Barneveld holding an edge over Shullsburg at the top. McDonell Central, ranked fourth once again, did pick up a top vote after knocking off Regis last week however. Losses by Assumption and Loyal drop those teams out of the poll, with Alma/Pepin and unbeaten Royall moving in. Undefeated Rio is just on the outside looking in at the top ten.

The WisSports.net Coaches Poll is published every Tuesday on WisSports.net.
