Milwaukee Bay View/Lifelong Learning senior Amazshea Lee has been selected as the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week for the week of January 23 through 29 after a vote on WisSports.net. 

There were 2,380 votes this week; Lee received 952, while New Holstein senior Nolan Beirne finished second with 757 votes. 

Lee recorded a triple-double in their 78-50 win over Milwaukee Bradley Tech on Tuesday. She finished with 40 points, 11 assists, and 11 steals while also tallying 8 rebounds.

On Friday, Lee scored her 1,000th career point in the Redcats win over Destiny, 74-28; she finished with 28 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists, and 8 steals.

Lee, a senior, is averaging 23.9 points, 7 rebounds, 7.8 assists, and 7.6 steals per game for the Redcats (12-3 overall, 7-0 in Milwaukee City-Blue).
